Patrick G. Keenan has been an actor going on thirty years. Originally from New Jersey, Patrick was bitten by the acting bug while performing in his high school’s production of Oklahoma. He then began taking acting classes and went on to get his BFA in Speech and Theater from Montclair State University. During college, he studied with Kevin McCarthy, Olympia Dukakis and members of the Royal Shakespeare Company. Working part-time at a video store, he became immersed in his love of film and studied acting for film through Weist-Barron Studios. Patrick became one of the co-founders of Life Repertory, which performed showcases and productions in NYC. In 1993, Patrick made the move to Charlotte, NC and did productions of The Changeling, Jeffrey and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) with Innovative Theatre. His commercials include Coca-Cola and Harris Teeter. In 2009, he shared a scene with Academy Award Winning Actress, Sandra Bullock, in the film The Blind Side. He won the Charlotte Film Community’s Best Supporting Actor award for his role in the short film, Internal Affairs. His recent film roles include My Name Is Paul, Athena, The Orbs, and Jimmy. Most recently, he was cast on an episode of the Showtime series, Homeland, as Walter Walker.
